Ensenada tastes like wine, good food and adventure. Located 110 km from the Mexico-US Border, it is one of the most important ports in Mexico and home to two national parks, the National Astronomical Observatory and iconic natural attractions of the Baja Peninsula like La Bufadora.

Aside from the above, special mention has to go to La Bufadora, one of the world’s largest geysers. The strength of the waters that come from this cave produces a very peculiar sound that captures the attention of tourists and locals alike. In La Bufadora one can also see hundreds of gray whales attracted by the warm waters of the Pacific.
Those who visit Ensenada, Baja California will be able to enjoy the sports events that include: fishing, volleyball and the speed in off road racing. Each year two important events take place: the Baja 1000 Race, which is the world’s largest off road race that starts in Ensenada and ends in the city of La Paz and the Baja 500 which starts and ends in Ensenada.
Some other events that attract visitors from all over the world are the Fiestas de la Vendimia every august. Also, the Rosarito-Ensenada Bike Ride, a 50 miles ride around highways and rural roads. Once you arrive to the finish line you’ll get to enjoy a party at the very unique Ensenada’s style.
